So spring has sprung in all it’s sunshiney glory and what better way to enjoy it than pounding the pavements. This morning the particular pavements I happened to be pounding were around the rather tasty suburb of Beaumaris. If you’re not a Melbournite you may not know that Beaumaris is an absolute treasure trove of mid century homes. Unfortunately all the developers see are big blocks of land and dollar signs so these beauties are thinning out far too quickly.
When I got home I couldn’t resist having a look at the online real estate pages to see whats for sale. When I came across this one I knew I had to share. I sure hope someone will buy her and love her with minimal disturbance to her natural beauty.
One of the features I love about this house is this expansive deck and bank of windows.
Even though it’s a little tired the original features shine through.
Love that teak corner bookshelf.
Okay the bench top is a little confronting but love the hanging shelving unit over it.
